This is NOT Goodbye!

Dear Candle Friends,

We have unfortunately come across a small set-back! That does not mean it has stopped us! Oh no, far from it.

We will be involved in every way possible with the soy candle industry. I will continue to be on the board working with them to keep the Chandler Guild moving along. I will do everything in my power to keep the soy candle industry moving and growing. This will also free Dan & I up to be more help in working with the Annual Congress.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Are there really any differences in soy waxes? After all, aren't all soy candle waxes just straight soy wax?

A. Yes, all soy candle waxes begin from straight soy wax, but that is where the similarities stop. The quality of a good soy candle wax depends on how it was manufactured. There are a lot of waxes on the U.S. market that come from all over and are not manufactured with quality or consistent procedures. Some of these waxes will have a high water content, some will have a high oil content, and a lot will not be consistent in either. Then you add in the problem of purchasing from other countries and you get even more inconsistencies. Thats where the problem comes in because once you think you have your additives down, the next batch of candles you make won't turn out right because of inconsistency during the manufacturing. You will have to constantly be reformulating your wax formulas. Phytowaxes are blended with exact quality procedures to offer you a professional, quality and consistent wax.

Wax is, indeed, ready to ship

Hello fellow chandlers! I just wanted to let you know that I contacted my wax distributor (Melonie Throne) and ordered some votive wax. I was in a pinch to get a big order out, but I did not relay that to her. I want you to know that I received the wax the NEXT day! I know this may be a bit much to expect on a regular basis, but it left me elated.

Also, I ordered a bunch of votive trays and a heat gun from the Belbecks (Ewe-R-Wooly folks). They also arrived post haste and in good order. The heat gun has already out lasted 2 I bought from a different supplier.

I encourage you all to support our chandlers in their distribution efforts. I know what they're doingi is not easy when we all have a million other things we need to do for our own businesses. Good job guys! Customer service is where it's at!
