Revisiting Scent Throw

I am in the process of looking for a new FO supplier. I've been using many oils from Nature's Garden, but I'm not satisfied that these are the best quality scents I can get.

I saw that someone else on here said they were trying Lebermuth oils. I would like to know if you had any success? I've received about 40 1 oz. samples from Lebermuth for testing purposes and I just cannot get them to work in candles. I've tried different waxes/additives, etc and still no scent throw at all. I've been told by 2 other candlemakers (not soy users) that Lebermuth should be avoided for candle scents because they're not strong enough. Any ideas here?

Powdered dye

Does anyone have any tips on getting powdered dye to completely dissolve in the soy wax? Have always used liquid dyes in the past. Found there to be more color options with the powders, however, am having trouble getting it to dissolve. Any suggestions?

Scent Throw Revisited

Hi fellow chandlers,
One area that I believe we can all be very helpful to one another is sharing info on which scents give us a good throw.
The way it could work is anyone having trouble with throw in a particular could post that information and then anyone who has experienced good throw with that fragrance might be willing to share the supplier's name so the one having trouble might buy a sample from that supplier to see if it works for them.

Frangrance problem

Has anyone experienced a problem with candles smelling wonderful in the container and then after lighting there is no scent throw? I've purchased some Maple Pecan scent from Candles and Supplies and it smells great in the jar, but I can't smell anything while its burning. I've had a customer complaint and now I'm concerned. At first I thought it was just me. Are there any safe additives that can be used to guarantee a strong scent throw?
