Many Chandler Guild members live in or around Iowa. This puts the first
Continental Congress within driving distance for many of our members. If
you'll be driving to Cedar Rapids in August, please consider providing our
ride for a member needing transportation to this all-important event. If
you'd like to come to the Congress but don't have a way to get there,
consider posting a Ride Wanted comment at our Congress Carpooling bulletin
board:

= Just The Soy Wax FAQs, m'am...
=
Some of you may be old enough to remember Jack Webb's deadpan delivery
as Sergeant Joe Friday in the television show "Dragnet" when he would urge
victims to tell him "Just the facts, m'am." Well Soyawax Mike has been busy
adding new information to our soy wax FAQs sheet. If you'd like to know more
about the composition of soy candle wax and other items of interest, visit
this page:
http://chandlerguild.com/index.php?or=14
where you can read all about it, ask questions, and make comments.
That's it for the moment, and will close with this reminder that now is
the time to plan your trip to join us in Cedar Rapids for the kick Chandler
Guild First Continental Congress. This candle industry Revolution may not be
televised but it will be exciting!

= The Revolution Will Not Be Televised
=
Final thoughts... it's time to learn as much as you can about the
Village Chandler Guild's First Continental Congress by checking out the
Event Agenda and Delegate Participation Guide.
You don't want us to start the revolution without you, now, do you?
Like Gil Scott-Heron* said so many years ago, 'The Revolution will not
be televised, will not be televised!'... But you can read about it at the
Village Chandler Guild web site:

What's that? Don't remember the Thinking Person's Revolutionary from
the Seventies? Check out:

or follow this tinyurl, http://tinyurl.com/e0n6, to the above page where
you'll learn more about this outspoken artist, including the lyrics to 'The
Revolution Will Not Be Televised'. And for a final Stab From The Past, check
out this sound clip:

Like the man says, 'The Revolution will be live.'
After pumping yourself up with a bit of Mr. Scott-Heron's inspiring
words, zip right over to:

for more information about Congress delegate registration and a link to
the registration form at the Soyawax web site.
See you in Cedar Rapids!
