= First Continental Congress Delegate Registration Now On-line

As you know, the Village Chandler Guild First Continental Congress will
be held the weekend of August 22-24th in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. If you don't
know the details on this all-important organizing event, please visit:

We've set the delegate registration fee low at $45 to encourage your

Hurry, please, the deadline for on-line and mail-in registration is
August 15th. After that date, you will have to register on-site at the
conference where the fee will be $55.

= Soyawax Warehouse Partners Announced
=
Regular visitors to the Chandler Guild web site know that there was a
Soy Wax Distribution Summit on June 22nd. This meeting was held to determine
the structure and processes to be put in place to ensure that Chandler
Guildmembers have a reliable and affordable source for all our soybean wax
and related product needs.
Well, it was more work and more time-consuming than we thought,
but Mike Richards is pleased to announce the details, including names and
contact information, about the five Regional Warehouse Partners:

As some on you know and may be frustrated by, we don't yet have a way
for members to get each others' e-mail addresses. No, we're not control
freaks. And yes, we sure do want you to communicate with each other via
on-line postings on the web site. But the reason for our tight rein on user
profile information is all about our need and commitment to protecting your
privacy.
If we made it easy for you to get each others email addresses under our
current web site platform, it would also be easy for SPAMMERS to 'harvest'
your contact information.
At the Congress, one of the SIGs (Special Interest Groups) to be formed
is the Guild Web Site Technical and Editorial Team. One of the first orders
of business for this group will be to determine what member information
we'll gather, and how we'll protect it while making it reasonably available
within the Guildmembership.
In the meantime, we want you to know that we take privacy issues
seriously and will do our best to not be the source of more crud in your
