I contacted Sarah Van Gorp from the Iowa Soybean Promotion Board in regards to the Free Marketing Material as a followup to my posting here back in November. (See my posting on 'Free Marketing Material' back in November.) Here is Sarah's response:
"Sorry this process has taken so long. We had some changes in staff so I'm actually no longer working with the soy candles project. Elaine Kenney (ekenney@iasoybeans.com) now handles all the soy candles marketing activities.
They have finished the wax agreement and they are getting ready to notify candle companies. We will be sending out a letter to all the Iowa candle companies next week. In the letter it will explain the register user section [The soy candle page on the Iowa Soybean Promotion website has a 'Member Login' link.. jerry]. That is for candle manufactures. You will receive a password and username after you sign the wax agreement. We will also include the wax agreement in the letter for you to look over and sign. Let Elaine or I know if you haven't received the letter by July 1st. Thanks for your patience's.
