A Pillar Process Observation

Candle Production and Quality SIG | Chandler Guild Training Ground | Candlemaking Best Practices

On 10/21/2003 Soyawax Mike responded to Northwoods Candle's question about making pillars with news that he..
"has a new and very easy to use process for all Chandlers to make pillars. I'm in the final testing week. Details will be announced on this website in one week."

Now on 12/25/2003 Soyawax responds to a query about the pillar recipe with...
"We have been doing extensive testing on a new pillar wax formula for several months. It will be available for distribution to Chandlers after the first of the year. It will be sold as a finished wax ready to use...."

What happened to the "easy to use process" that was reported in the 10/21/2003 message? Maybe it's me but I had interpreted this as a recipe we could use to make our own pillar formulation... now it appears to be a new product to purchase.

Let's either do what we say we're going to do.. or make it clear what we're going to do in the first place.

Easy to use/ready to use

That is why this will be easy to use:

It will be a ready made pillar wax ready to melt and mold.

We have this pillar wax formulated and it has been thoroughly tested. Now we are setting up actual production of the wax. I will post a notice here when this new wax is available. There are still final steps to complete with setting up production and packaging.

RE: Easy to use/ready to use

Your response is what I expected.
