Christmas Ideas

Dear Gwen,

We are having a Fall Festival at our business. It will be this Wed. Thru Saturday. I will have a small add in the Garage Sale Section of the paper and we are passing out and mailing flyers to our lists.

I am giving each person that comes a votive and with a $30.00 purchase a wicker cornucopia basket. We happen to have these left over from a large order that we filled, but these are empty. Anything you can do to help encourage shoppers to come.

Then as soon as this is over, I will mail out invitations for a Holiday Sale at my home...we hate to haul so much, but we want to get the sales and advertise our products. We have taken some office rooms in our building and turned them into an outlet store. It is looking wonderful and I think will be a big benefit.

Have you taken cupcake liners and poured scrap in them, maybe with a little potpourri or wood for animal cages in them and made very inexpensive fire starters. Make a cute label and you can put them in cheap baskets or even brown paper lunch bags...it just depends on your price point. I have some mesh bags that we used to put a sponge in and I am going to try those for mine.

Have you tried dipping teddy bears just for a room fragrancer? Put them in a cello bag with a "How to Use" label, a ribbon and they really move.
