Hello Fello Chandlers,
Most of you already know me, as I try to contribute to this Guild often.
But, just in case, my name is Carol Lafferty-Winters and I want to thank you again for voting me onto the Table of Twelve.
I will do all that I can to help in any way that I can.
My goal is to see the T12 get the group organized into a cohesive group that can manage business affairs in an honest and fair manner. One that keeps with the mission statement that Mike Richards set up in the beginning as the founding member of this organization. And that is:
To develop an innovative business enerprise that generates creative resources to activate personal, community and global transformation for life.
We will of course need to figure out many things first. There are legal affairs to straighten out. Decisions to be made on whether we want to be nonprofit, profit, an association, etc. If you have any thoughts in this area, please contact one of the Tof 12 and talk. The organizational structure is just one of the many things we will need to settle.
What do you want as a Chandler Guild Member? Let it be known. Do you want a nonprofit corporation? a forprofit corporation? an association? All of these entities carry with them a different set of rules and regulations. As they carry different sets of benefits and drawbacks. There are many people out there that know a lot about this and may have some helpful insights on the subject.
The T12 are busy trying to get things going. You can be sure of that. The process may seem a little slow at times. But that is the way it is.
We are here for you and we will do our best to keep you informed of our activities.
