We are in the process of changing insurance companies.
Does anyone have a good insurance company that you can recommend?

Insurance

Nancy,
We are looking for liability, workman's comp, fire and anything
that we need to cover. This insurance needs to cover candles and bath and body products.
I will appreciate any leads you can give me.

Hi Joan,

Group purchasing power is certainly one of the great things we can look forward to as the Chandler Guild evolves. Unfortunately, we are in a 'cart before the horse' or is it a 'chicken and egg' situation.

Before we can negotiate and offer member advantages, such as group-policy insurance, we have to figure out exactly what legal form of the Guild will be. From this critical decision, many threads of action can unfold. This question of our legal form is Job #1 of the Table of Twelve and will be of critical importance to all Guildmembers who will be encouraged to understand and voice their opinions about our business formation, its values and service offerings.

In the meantime, let me cross-reference you to this post and comment thread about business and product liability insurance. Until our horse/cart or chicken/egg situation is resolved, the best we can do as a Kindred Spirit Community is share information and experience... which as we are seeing here on the Chandler Guild web site, it a great thing in and of itself!
