Wholesale Apothecary Jars

Village Chandler Marketplace | Wanted | The Chandler Guild Community

Hello Chandler Friends,

I am starting my fundraising program soon and am in the testing stage. I am looking for apothecary jars at wholesale prices other than Bittercreek Candle supply and Candles and Supplies.com. I have searched and searched and have found numerous wholesale sites, but none that impress me much. I'm
searching for different style apothecary jars ranging from 5 oz to 16 oz. Just curious to see what suppliers everyone else is using.

Thanks,
Gwen Heimer

Gwen ~

I am getting set up to be a distributor for Anchor Hocking and can get your their jars at wholesale. I use their 5 oz, 11 oz, 16 oz and 26 oz Country Kitchen Collection jars. They have bubble tops and look a lot like Yankee.

If you are interested, I will get some Anchor Hocking info out to you. When is your fundraiser?

Anchor Hocking

Thanks for the information. I have about 3 weeks before I start. I have a lot of pre work to finish, but am getting close. Right now I am using Candlesandsupplies.com. I would love to see what Anchor Hocking has available.
My phone number is 574-656-3356, if you would like to speak with me.
Again, thanks for your help.

Gwen :-)

Jars

I get my jars from TVG in New York. Their website is www.tvguilfoil.com. If you give them a call they will send you free samples along with their prices. They will also tell you if you are close in your order for it to be cheaper for the jars to be trucked to you instead of going thru UPS. I almost always get mine trucked unless I have an emergrency order. I do have a copy of their prices at home if you have any questions.

Apothecary Jars

This is my first post here so I hope I am doing it right! :)

Fortunately I found a local supplier so I do not have to pay shipping. I get mine from Richard's Packaging here in Des Moines. They call the apothecary jars "Candletainers", and they have the flat lids. They also have great prices on hexagon jars, which are what I use for fund raisers. I think the prices are reasonable too. My contact is Dave Bilicki and his number is 1-800-321-0850.

You also might want to check out Big Lots - they have all kinds of neat glass containers and if you ever use canning jars they are a steal at $4.99/dozen.

Hope this helps,
