New never been used; just taken out of the box and placed on a shelf.

Holds 105 lbs (15 gal) with sealed and polished aluminum interior, is fully insulated and convection heated. A heated drain valve and cover are included Temperature is thermostat controlled (300 F)

MPW 15 operates at 120V.

I have a Wenesco, 100 pound melting tank I have never used I am trying to sell.

It is the tank which came with my package when I signed up.

Does anyone know how I would go about trying to sell it?

Soot Clean-Up

Hi,

Does anyone have a good way to clean up soot from jars?

I have jars I have burned way too long and of course soot is the result.

I am also trying to recycle jars and lids. Anyone have a good way to get rid of the scent from the lids?

Mixing EO's & FO's together

Hi,

Does anyone know how much FO I can add to bath products I have already added EO's to?

I have some bath items I have added EO's to and now want the mixture to smell like an FO I have.

The items are not for resaling but for my personal usuage ONLY.

Fundraisers

Hi,
I have three daughters who are all on seperate cheerleading teams.

We truly could not and still cannot afford the cost.

We let them try out because our kids have never really been able to do any extra curricular activities.

To try and off set some of the cost a friend suggested I do a fundraiser for my daughters with my candles.

Has anyone ever done this? If so, how did you go about doing it?

Hi,

I made a batch of CP and did not use my usual Olive Oil. As a result the batch has a green tint to it.

Is there anyway to color it without rebatching?

Re-melting Soy

Hi,

I have no time to make some samples up so I decided to scoop some wax from some containers and melt it in small jars.

Here is my problem, the scent is so faint now. How long will it before the strong scent comes back?

Will I need to wait four days for curing before I can take the sample jars in so the group I am working with can get a better sense of the true smell?

Wick Clips versus Wick Bars

Me again!

I am needing information on opinions on wick clips versus wick bars.

Right now I have wick clips, but am thinking of going with wick bars instead.

My reason is that with some jars, it is sometimes difficult to get the clips to lay flat if the jar tops are not flat.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Burn Time

I am using 9 oz hexagon jars with 100% soy wax. I am telling my customers the jar will burn from 70-90 hours. When I have test burned them, I get tired and bored after 70 hours and stop keeping track of how much longer my candles will burn. Is this long burn time consistent with your experience?

Hi,

I had this question all ready for the convention and decided not to ask, but here I am now. :)

Although many expressed adding scent and pouring at high temps (170 - 180 F), I am constantly being told this is too high and I should be pouring at much lower temps.

I am being told to add my scent and pour when my soy is in the gelling stage.

Any feed back will be appreciated.

Although I am okay with my current scent throw, I would like a stronger one.

Hi,

A few hours ago I found out I have the opportunity to speak to a parent group on Monday about them doing a fundraiser with my candles.

If anyone has any suggestions, ideas, do's or don'ts, etc. it will be highly appreciated.

It is a small group, but I will take any opportunity I can get to get my candles out there.
