Powdered dye

Does anyone have any tips on getting powdered dye to completely dissolve in the soy wax? Have always used liquid dyes in the past. Found there to be more color options with the powders, however, am having trouble getting it to dissolve. Any suggestions?

Does anyone have a solution to wax not adhering to glass containers? I am having a problem with this. I believe that there is an additive that can be used but I'm not sure what it is or if it works. Any suggestions?

Wholesale or Retail?

Are the current prices that everyone has been sharing for wholesale distribution or retail? I'm assuming retail. Does anyone sell their candles to small stores as well? What are the prices? Do you sell your candles to the store or do you place them in the store and when they sell, the store gets a certain percentage of the profit? If so, what percentage do they get? Thanks for any input. I hope this info. helps others just getting started.

Pricing

I thought that it might be helpful to share with each other the prices we are charging for our candles. I believe that it will be helpful for several reasons.
1. For newer members to get a better idea of what the soy wax candles are going for.
2. To possibly maintain a similar price guideline across the board. Obviously, we can each charge whatever price that we want for our candles, just more of a guideline.

Soy Wax Information Tag?

I don't know about anyone else but I plan to either attach a small tag to my candles or have an information sheet at the site of my displays that briefly lists the pros of soy wax candles. I was wondering what you guys think about deciding together on a short list of these pros that we can all uniformly use in our advertising or labeling. Let me know if anyone else is planning to attach any of this info. to their candles.
